Founder of On Point Speech Therapy. Adult rehabilitation. East Lyme, Connecticut.

Julie Summers

Julie is a medical speech-language pathologist with a Master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University. She is licensed in the State of Connecticut and also holds a license to provide teletherapy in the State of Florida. She is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is an accredited Medicare provider.

Over the last 20+ years, Julie has specialized in adult rehabilitation in acute care, skilled rehab, outpatient and home health. Working across these settings, Julie’s patients frequently asked “Why can’t you be my therapist at home?” Seeing this need and opportunity to provide in-home therapy to adults, in 2019 Julie established On Point Speech Therapy and took her practice on the road! Her mobile outpatient practice provides personalized cutting-edge care right where it matters, right at home.

Julie lives in East Lyme, Connecticut with her husband, three children, and dog. She is grateful to live, work, and play along the beautiful Connecticut coast and honored to serve her community through On Point Speech Therapy.
